2nd ANNUAL AFRICAN FASHION WEEK CHICAGO AT VICTOR HALL
Chicago Tastemakers and Media Invited to the Official African Fashion Week Chicago from September 24-26,2015.
We live in a western society dominated by European and American designers yet the recent surge in African and African inspired prints, styles, and designs has given fashionistas around the world a welcomed injection of high-end design, laced with vivacious culture. Notable figures from all walks have been spotted in vivid and innovative creations from the new crop of African designers.
On September 24-26 2014, some of these designers will be taking Chicago by storm in the sophomore rendition of African Fashion Week Chicago. The three-day Arts, Music and fashion event will be held at Victor Hall and will feature International high-end African and African inspired clothiers.
After a successful inauguration at Jackson Junge Gallery on September 2014 followed by an acclaimed presentation at Taste of Chicago, founder Christianah Ajanaku is excited to elevate the presence of emerging brands and give local artists their well-deserved platform.
